The After-Prom committee is hard at work planning this year’s activities and it is going to be a ROAR! After Prom is a parent sponsored/supervised event and we are respectfully requesting your donation of $10 or any amount to continue providing a fun and safe setting for our students. It also serves as a good-bye party for our seniors. The event April 25/26 is a student lock in 11:30-3:00 am, parent supervised event with games, food, drink, blow ups, games, caricature artists and all the amenities of the Ridge Recreation center including the pool! Funding for After Prom comes from parent donations, DEF donation and ticket sales. Thank you greatly in advance for your consideration. All donations made to the D’Evelyn Education Foundation (DEF) are tax deductible. Please make your check payable to the D’Evelyn Education Foundation or DEF and earmark it for After Prom. After Prom is great opportunity for younger families to get involved with a student favorite school tradition. Look for Sign Up Genius links in school announcements soon for tangible items needed and spots to sign up to help. Volunteer to work the event or be part of the preparation committee; planning, décor, activities/vendors, food/drink and entertainment. Come see what the fun is all about! We are currently looking for people to shadow a team leader this year to take on the planning for the next prom. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with other D’Evelyn Families. Please contact Shannon if you’re interested in a rewarding position on the After-Prom committee. The Dash will take place on August 29th this year and the Dash Crew could use your help!
Come join a fun team! Here’s how you can get involved: Dash Chair: Are you good at organizing people? The Dash Crew needs you! We are looking for 1-2 people to shadow our current Dash chairs. We have all the information organized in google drive/gmail and we have an amazing team of volunteers for the various Dash jobs. You would just need to oversee the team and keep things moving along. Most work can be done at home and on your own time. Sponsorship: We are looking for 1-2 people to help with sponsorship. We have all sponsorship documentation in google drive, so you aren't having to "reinvent the wheel." We have also built a healthy list of sponsors. We just need people to follow up with them and keep things organized. Most of the work is done on the computer and during the months of March-May. Graphic Design Help: We are looking for someone who can work with adobe illustrator and help create Dash flyers and other publicity items. All templates are created but just need to be updated. Work can be done at home and on your own time. Publicity: We need someone to shadow our current publicity chair. This position requires some work in May when early registration opens and again in August just before the Dash. Most work can be done on your own time. Smaller Jobs: Not sure where you want to help or maybe you can take on pieces but not the whole thing? Email us at [email protected].
