By Becky Paschke “Music is the shorthand of emotion.” ― Leo Tolstoy What an incredible season the 2018 D’Evelyn Marching Band experienced which was topped off by winning the 3A State Championships at CSU in Pueblo! It was the accumulation of countless hours of practice, multiple competitions held throughout the metro area, and varying degrees of temperatures and weather. Our incredible Drum Majors Emily Smith and Evie Hupka did an outstanding job!
