Written by: Greg Kottcamp, Assistant Principal Honor Roll & Academic Lettering are two important ways that students are recognized for their academic achievements at D’Evelyn. The Honor Roll is broken into four categories and is based on the spring of 2020: (weighted grade point averages are used in these calculations) Platinum - Students earned a 4.0 or higher Gold - Students with G.P.A.s of 3.99 - 3.75 Silver - Students with G.P.A.s of 3.74 - 3.5 Bronze - Students with G.P.A.s of 3.49 - 3.0 If your child’s name is missing, on the wrong list, misspelled, or you have any questions about the Honor Roll, please email me at [email protected]. All new honor roll students should visit the main office to receive their “D’Evelyn #Honor Student” bumper sticker. Academic Lettering The high school students that earned at least a 3.5 G.P.A. for both semesters of the 2019-2020, will be awarded an Academic Letter. The first year a student earns this award they are given a certificate, chenille “D” Letter for D’Evelyn, and an academic pin. Every year after they are given a certificate and a bar pin. This year we will not be having an academic lettering ceremony. Instead, awards and subsequent materials will be distributed through first period classes sometime in October. The student that earned an Academic letter during the 2019-2020 school year can be seen at the following link: D’Evelyn’s Academic Lettering Students for 2019-2020 Congratulations to all students that earned an Honor Roll and/or Academic Letter.
