Woody Oliver has been coaching tennis for almost a decade and been playing since he was 3. He was born and raised in Littleton, CO and was a varsity tennis captain at Heritage High school, where he placed 3rd individually and helped his team place 3rd at the 5A State Championships. Woody turned down offers from Division II college tennis programs to pursue academics at CU-Boulder. He became a tennis pro at Bow Mar, where he worked with juniors, elite high school players, and seasoned adults. He joined the D'Evelyn tennis program in 2016, took over as the head coach of the girls team in 2017 and led the girls to their first state championship, earning coach of the year honors. He also took over the boys program in 2018, after the team finished 6th at the state tournament. Woody is a USPTA certified tennis pro at Apex Tennis Center in Arvada, Colorado. He is looking forward to coaching the boys and girls D'Evelyn tennis teams for years to come. Comments are closed.
