By: Greg Kottcamp, Assistant Principal At our D’Evelyn Information nights, we make a point to remind parents that when they are enrolling their kids at D’Evelyn, they too are committing to being part of our program. The D’Evelyn program has such great results because we have students, teachers, and parents working together to provide this amazing and unique educational experience. We want to thank all of the parents that have been so kind and generous with their time and gifts throughout the year. Our students were able to enjoy prom and after prom because so many of you gave your time and effort to make it a memorable experience. When we were in need of microwaves for the cafeteria, we had several of you make donations. When the call went out for help with the teacher appreciation week, you overwhelmed us with your generosity. On behalf of the staff, we want to thank you for all the kindness we received during Teacher Appreciation week. By: Crystal Frigo, Post-Grad Secretary

Beginning this Monday(April 24), the D'Evelyn Community Outreach Program will be conducting a week long fundraiser to provide support to our Veterans in need! We are conducting this campaign to raise funds for our Veterans through the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) organization. VVA provides important veteran services, which include job placement assistance, claims assistance, financial advising, and advocating on their behalf through legislative initiatives. VVA also provides critical outreach programs to assist with homelessness, PTSD, and substance abuse. They are also working to assist the 2/3 of veterans who do not claim their benefits through greater awareness and education. Donations can be brought in the form of cash or check to the office, or students can bring cash or checks to hand in at lunch. Checks should be made payable to VVA. A donation drive will also be held on Saturday April 29th at D'Evelyn from 9am-3pm, where final cash, checks, and donations will also be collected. A list of acceptable and unacceptable donations can be found using this link. In these difficult times, our veterans are in need of our support more than ever. Let's come together and show our gratitude to those who have served! Please support our kids and our veterans donate today - any amount will make an impact!
