On Thursday, November 21st, I look forward to hosting D’Evelyn parents for “Coffee with the Principal”. We will provide coffee, hot water, and tea, as well as some light snacks. The purpose of this Coffee with the Principal is to give parents an opportunity to speak directly with me and ask questions about the school. There is a lot going on at D’Evelyn in particular, and in public schools in general, and I am hoping to create an opportunity for D’Evelyn parents to have a chance to discuss these important issues that impact our students. The format will be very informal, and I do not intend to have a prepared presentation or remarks. However, I do look forward to meeting directly with D’Evelyn parents and will be prepared to speak about what is going on in our school based upon the input of parents in attendance. D’Evelyn Assistant Principal Tim Schmeckpeper will join me for the Coffee with the Principal as well. He specifically works with student discipline, student support, and school safety. I have invited him to join us in this meeting to offer his insight on these particular matters and others as they arise. I hope you all have enjoyed a wonderful weekend. With only five school days remaining until the Thanksgiving Break, I hope that the last week prior to break goes well for your student and family. Comments are closed.
