The D’Evelyn Education Foundation will host its Annual Dinner & Auction on Friday, December 3rd at the Baldoria on the Water at 6pm. This event is SO MUCH FUN and a must attend! In addition to great food, live entertainment, and an incredible silent/live auction, it is an amazing community building event. This is an excellent opportunity to not only raise critical funds for the D’Evelyn Education Foundation, but to meet fellow D’Evelyn families. Our community is what makes D’Evelyn outstanding! By: Jenna Spendlove The D’Evelyn Education Foundation Management Team plans and executes numerous activities for the D’Evelyn community. This Team is run exclusively by parent volunteers, many who head up their activities have done so year after year. They report to the D’Evelyn Education Foundation Board of Directors and are responsible for a large portion of the fundraising which directly benefits our students and teachers. They are the key organizers of multiple ongoing events. These groups are Junior High Social Committee (formerly known as Junior High Boosters), D’Evelyn DASH, Jag Trax (school newsletter), Parent/Teacher Conference meals, After Prom, School Store, DEF Website, Teacher Appreciation, and the Annual Dinner & Auction. Left to Right: Michelle Reeb, Junior High Social Committee; Misty Dryden, School Store; Natalie Hart, D’Evelyn DASH; Jenna Spendlove, DEF Executive Director and Dinner/Auction Coordinator; Wendi Graper, After Prom; Ann Freimuth, After Prom; and Laura McCullough, Parent/Teacher Conference Meals. Absent: Kelly Morris, Teacher Appreciation; and Phil Skrzekut. We are always looking for additional volunteers and new ideas! For a list of Volunteer Opportunities, click here: DEF Volunteer. The D’Evelyn DASH would like to thank those that sponsored the DASH this year! The overwhelming majority of these sponsors have a direct connection to D’Evelyn, whether they are D’Evelyn parents, D’Evelyn alumni, or friends and family of parents at the school. Many of these sponsors have given year after year. Our sponsors are a reflection of the immense pride we as a D’Evelyn community have for our school, students, and staff. Please supportthose that support our efforts at D’Evelyn! By: Natalie Hart, DASH Event Director
