The D’Evelyn Environmental Club is hosting a COVID-safe community tree planting event on April 17th! Despite online learning, our school goes through about a million sheets of paper every year. With the help of Tree-Plenish, our goal is to promote a greener, more sustainable community by planting 200 trees to replenish 2.0 million sheets of paper! If you are interested in helping us reach our goal by requesting a tree to be planted in your yard, please fill out this form. We are offering three different species of trees for only $5 each! On April 17th, we will be sending groups of 2-3 socially-distanced student volunteers to plant saplings in your yard, or you can pick them up from the school if you prefer. If you cannot plant a tree in your yard but still want to help visit this link, select "D'Evelyn Junior/Senior" then "Environmental Club Donation," to enter your donation amount. We hope that this event can bring our community together and simultaneously beautify our neighborhoods during a very tough school year. Feel free to reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions. Thank you! |
