The D'Evelyn Education Foundation (Foundation) has a unique opportunity to double or triple the amount of free money it receives from the King Soopers/City Market Community Rewards Program. Yes, you read that last sentence correctly. The Foundation could easily earn between $20,000 to $30,000 each year if we can communicate to our loyal supporters the changes that King Soopers and City Market have implemented in their Community Rewards Program as of April 1, 2019. Please read on to see what those of you with reloadable King Soopers Community Rewards cards must do to painlessly continue earning 5% of all your grocery and gasoline purchases for D'Evelyn. First of all, those of you who have balances on your D'Evelyn King Soopers cards are in good shape. Your current cards are NOT affected by these changes. You may continue to use those cards until the balance reaches 0 and D'Evelyn will receive 5% of those purchases. These cards are not reloadable, however, as they have been in the past. To convert to the new system, simply visit the appropriate link, below:
Once logged into My Account, click on Community Rewards in the menu under My Account. You can search for D'Evelyn by entering the word D'Evelyn or the school's unique 5-digit code, XT742, and then click Enroll. You are now successfully enrolled in D'Evelyn's new Community Rewards Program! Please recall that purchases at King Soopers or City Market will not count for D'Evelyn until after you enroll your loyalty card. Participants must swipe their enrolled King Soopers or City Market loyalty card or use the phone number related to your registered/enrolled King Soopers or City Market loyalty card when shopping in order for each purchase to count towards D'Evelyn's 5% rebate. The beauty of this new system is that D'Evelyn supporters will no longer have to continually remember to reload their D'Evelyn King Soopers or City Market loyalty cards in order to assure that D'Evelyn receives 5% of your purchases. You will also not require multiple cards for family members. You and everyone in your family who uses your loyalty card (or the phone number related to your registered/enrolled King Soopers or City Market loyalty card) will be able to make purchases that generate 5% for D'Evelyn. Simply stop by a King Soopers or City Market store, pick up a loyalty card if you do not already have one, enroll the card, and start shopping. ![]() This year's Junior High Play is "Beware the Jabberwock" by Ron Nicol, based on the poem by Lewis Carrol. The play is set in the fantasy world of Carroll's Alice stories containing wonderfully nonsensical moments sure to delight children and adults alike. Performance dates are May 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 7:00 P.M. in the D'Evelyn Auditorium. Tickets are available at the door for $8.00. By Ralph K. Spencer, D'Evelyn Education Foundation Board of Directors
The times they are a-changin', as that ageless troubadour Bob Dylan told us back in the '60s! A truer word was never spoken. The most recent change to affect D'Evelyn Jr./Sr. High School for the next decade or so revolves around the King Soopers/City Market Community Rewards Program. Many, many D'Evelyn supporters will be affected by this change but fear not, opportunity knocks . . . and shops with this particular change!
