Are you switching districts or going to a private school for the 2023-2024 school year? If you have decided to have your child/ren attend another school district or a private school for the 2023-2024 please email our registrar Jennifer Lillibridge and let her know your plans. This is how we start the unenrollment process and it will allow us to offer that spot at D’Evelyn to a family that is currently on the waitlist. By: Devon Lawrence, Photography, Painting, and AP Art Teacher The art department is proud to announce that 26 D’Evelyn high school art students currently have their artwork showcased at the 52nd annual Jeffco Schools High School Art Show held at the Arvada Center. Parents, we need a few more microwaves for the students to use in the cafeteria during lunch. Last year, some parents contributed microwaves. Unfortunately, two out of the four microwaves stopped working due to wear and tear. If you have a spare working microwave sitting around your house that you are willing to donate to the school, please bring it by the front office. By: Greg Kottcamp, Assistant Principal
As we get further into the spring season and warmer weather, we would like to remind parents and students about our dress code expectations. When families choose to send their students to D'Evelyn they are expected to follow the school policies. If every family makes sure that their child/ren is/are following the dress code guidelines below, it will help us maintain our high behavior expectations. Please take the time to review the dress code with your kids. The most common violations have been students wearing hats (hoods of their hoodies), shirts exposing the midriff, and shorts that don’t fully extend to cover the mid-thigh. We need your help in making sure that the dress code expectations are met. Thank you for having those hard conversations with your kids. |
