On Friday December 17th NJHS will also be hosting a Dairy Queen Blizzard sale after school. Blizzard flavors will be Oreo and Reese's peanut butter cup. Blizzards are $5.00 so don’t forget to bring your money and get down to the main entrance early. Last time we sold out of Blizzards in 14 minutes! Girls Mentoring Friday December 10th is the Girls Mentoring Annual Cookie Celebration. Group leaders will supply the cookies, mentors please bring the frosting and mentees bring sprinkles. We will be having 3 competitions: most creative cookie, most holiday spirit and most comedic. Please go to your classroom first, then head down to the cafeteria for some cookie decorating fun. Can’t wait to see you there! Boys Mentoring Friday December 10th is the Boys Mentoring Annual Holiday Gift Exchange Group leaders will purchase small (dollar store) gifts for all members in their group. We are asking that all mentor/mentee pairs talk about bringing in a fun snack to share with their group. They could bring in homemade cookies or other holiday treats, or they could bring in a bag of chips. There will hopefully be a ton of food, so the portion sizes do not need to be overly large. The boys will start in their classrooms, and then move to a larger group at the appropriate time. We are very excited to celebrate this year! College Update There will be NO College Visits this week. Seniors, please check your transcript deadlines. It takes time to process your transcripts, allow one week before your deadline. The next major deadlines are Dec 15 and Jan 1st. No one will be in the office to send transcripts after Dec 21st. Check the status of your transcripts with Mrs McSwain in Counseling.
