New Student Orientation

The entire Jaguar community is thrilled to welcome students to D’Evelyn Jr./Sr. High School for the 2022-2023 school year!  We are fortunate to have you join the ranks of D’Evelyn students and become members of our prestigious community.

We will have the New Student/Family Orientation on August 15th where students will have the chance to meet High School leaders of the National Honor Society, introduce themselves to other incoming students, walk their schedule, and familiarize themselves with the building.  Additionally, parents will have the opportunity to listen to presentations from community leaders to learn more about the D’Evelyn program.  Below is additional information.  If you would like to attend this event and have not already registered, please contact Assistant Principal Dan Wille.

• Date & Time: August 15th from 9:00am - 12:00pm (students are encouraged to arrive early for check-in)
  • Parent Meeting will run from 9:00-10:00am
• Where: D’Evelyn Jr./Sr. High School: 10359 W. Nassau Ave.
• New 6th and 7th grade students will attend events including:
  • Ice-breaking activities for students
  • Students visit their classrooms
  • NHS Leaders coach new students about daily routines including locker usage, lunches, passing periods, study periods, etc.
  • Lunch for students from 11:30am - 12:00pm
• D’Evelyn T-shirt provided
• New 8th and 9th grade students will meet with their counselors to participate in similar activities as the 6th and 7th grade students
