By Bianca Miller The D'Evelyn Robotics Club participated in the 2019 Front Range BEST Robotics Competition on October 26th. D'Evelyn took 4th place out of 23 teams and was also awarded the BEST t-shirt award for their design - designed by Huyentran (Tran) Ngomai. The Robotics team has also advanced to the Denver BEST Regional Championship that will be held next month. With a team comprising of only 8 students and solely student led, we had one of the smallest teams compared with some of the teams of over 20 students. Of the finalists, it is of notable mention, that we were the smallest team to make it to the Regional Championship. This makes for a significant accomplishment by D'Evelyn students Dax Dalberg, Thienviet (Viet) Ngomai, Huyentran (Tran) Ngomai, Evan Miller, Ananya Alfred, Matthew Nguyen, Ryan Diep, and Kyle Stalnaker. These students worked many long and hard hours and did an outstanding job with their Robot design. The competition results outline their amazing accomplishment!
